On 1 December 2018, the Independent Gambling Authority ceased operations and all gambling regulatory, operational and enforcement responsibilities transferred to Consumer and Business Services (CBS).
In the short term, very little will change. However, the CBS will begin a review of the Codes of Practice shortly.
An information bulletin from CBS is attached which addresses some of the questions that licensees and staff may have.
