Gambling Harm Awareness Week (GHAW) has been held annually in South Australia and coordinated by the Office for Problem Gambling (OPG) since 2007. The week promotes responsible gambling and raises awareness of the help available for people affected by gambling problems.

The week is designed to encourage community discussions about why gambling harm matters. Harm from gambling isn’t just about losing money. Gambling can affect self-esteem, relationships, physical and mental health, work performance and social life for the person who gambles, along with their family, friends, workplaces and communities.

Events are being held all across the state as part of Gambling Harm Awareness Week.  Find out more here
