Board

Gaming Care’s structure includes a Board to provide overall governance and strategic and political direction to the Agency.  The Board has been established with five directors. They are;

Staff

Gaming Care employs an Executive Officer responsible for the day to day supervision of the agency function. Six Gaming Care Officers are employed to support the hotel industry in implementing early intervention strategies, achieve a high level of compliance and to facilitate a collaborative and cooperative relationship between gaming venues and gambling help services.

Rhonda Turley
Executive Officer
In May 2004, Rhonda became the first AHA|SA Responsible Gambling Officer. In September 2005 she was appointed the inaugural Executive Officer of Gaming Care. Before joining the AHA|SA she spent 18 years in the non government community service sector working in the area of poverty and disadvantage, this involved contributing to social policy to combat poverty, including the negative impact of gambling.

Tracey Riggs-Barker

Gaming Care Officer
Before joining Gaming Care Tracey was Marketing and Promotions Officer for a large South Australian hotel group and has a wealth of experience after having   been involved in hotel gaming since its introduction.  She is also an experienced volunteer telephone crisis counsellor. Tracey has completed Certificate 4 Training & Assessment.

Regions: Southern Metro, South Coast (shared), Port Pirie, Port Augusta & Far North,

Didier Vollerin
Gaming Care Officer
Prior to Didier joining Gaming Care his extensive hospitality experience, skills and gaming industry knowledge included his time as Security Shift Supervisor with a casino and working for a large city hotel. He has also spent time working in the automotive industry in South Australia.

Regions: North Metro, South East, Adelaide CBD/North Adelaide (shared).

Megan Webb
Gaming Care Officer
Megan brings to Gaming Care a range of industry and community sector experience and knowledge including working in the gaming rooms of two hotels and across various human resource functions in the Job Network field. Megan has completed Certificate 4 Training and Assessment.

Regions: Port Adelaide, Hills, Murray Mallee.

Jarrod Egan
Gaming Care Officer
Jarrod came to Gaming Care after working in the role as General Manager for an Adelaide based hotel group. He has hands-on knowledge, skills and experience of all aspects of hotels and gaming through his strong background of working in the industry for over ten years.

Regions: East Metro, Yorke Peninsula, Lower/Mid North, Upper North East (shared).

Lisa Menadue
Gaming Care Officer
Lisa brings many years of experience and understanding of problem gambling through her former role as a gambling financial counsellor with a State government agency, supporting people impacted by problem gambling and financial crisis.

Regions: West Metro, Gawler/Barossa, Lower/Mid North & Upper North East (shared).

Jacqueline Woodward
Gaming Care Officer Data & Administration
Jacqueline came directly to Gaming Care from the AHA|SA. She brings with her over twelve years of valuable industry knowledge, skills and experience. Her background also includes working as a volunteer with community service agencies. Jacqueline will work with both Gaming Care and the Licensed Clubs Club Safe in the area of data collection.
